Hey -

My husband is hoping to catch up on some zzzz's on the trip. I'd heard about this pod which is supposed to feel like you've had 8 hours of sleep after being in it for 20 minutes, and I'd like to treat him to it.

Does the spa on the Magic have this? How much is it? And for those of you who've tried it, does it really work?

Thanks as always,

Kristen

I have spent the day today trying to figure out what I want to do in the Spa on our 1/15 cruise. :-)

They do have a Chakra Balancing Capsule. The cost is $45 for 25 mins, $60 for 50 mins, $110 for a course of 3 25 min.

Somewhere I remember seeing a pic of the Capsule. I've done Float tanks in the past (and LOVE them) but this appears not to have water. I can't wait to try it!!!

HTH

I did it on the Wonder and did not like it. I could not get a temperature that I felt comfortable with - the heat can't run the whole time or you'd roast, so it cycles. When it gets to its warmest point, I was comfortable, but in about 5 minutes I was cold again, then had to wait for it to cycle up again. If you can stand a wide range of temps, it might work for you. (My back also ached before I got out, but that's just me and my back.)

While the capsule is both enjoyable and relaxing, forget about the 20 minutes equals X amount of sleep. That is pure hyperbole.
The $60 for 50 minutes is a good investment, just don't expect to party all night.
