I wouldn't count on being able to ride the train right before, during or right after a parade.
(Unless you are confident of the direction of the parade and know the timing situation.)
The trains must all stop at some point before or during the parade, depending on various factors
(most importantly, exactly which direction the 3:00 parade will run that particular performance.)
The parade must cross the RR tracks just BACKSTAGE near Splash Mtn.
I remember I was on the train one time, we got on at Main Street. We had to sit behind Adventureland for awhile until it crossed over the tracks ahead.
