My in-laws may be coming with us. Is it true that you can use a pin code at only 1 resort? Also now that we can book our reservations online is there a way to book 2 rooms at once or do I have call a CM? Do the reservations have to be on the same days?

I am pretty positive that you CAN'T use the pin code on more than 1 resort.. However, you may be able to use the pin code for more than 1 room at the same resort as long as it is at the same time..

You have to put down a deposit for each reservation that you make..
For example: I am doing a split stay in may.. 4 nights at CSR and then 4 nights at the Poly.. although it is one trip the pin code I had only worked for part of my trip so in order for me to apply an upgrade I had to make 2 different reservations, thus 2 seperate $200 deposits..

The way it works is that a PIN is good for the household. Your in-laws are not part of it. So only you and your DH can book a room under the PIN. Potentially it should be doable, but you'll have to send your DH with their parents!

Whenever we've had a Pin code, we've been able to book a maximum of 3 rooms for any particular vacation using the Pin -- and those three rooms could be at three different resorts if we wanted to do it that way (I once used my Pin code and booked for our group two rooms at GF and one room at CR as my sister likes CR better). I have not tried to book more than one room on-line, however, with a Pin code. I've been wondering myself how to do it. I think I would just call CRO to book it.

In my experience, we have had to put down a deposit for each room booked wih a Pin code. I don't recall if we had to have exactly the same dates in each room (I think the answer is no, but double-check on that).

Not sure if it has changed but during the last promo in 2010 I used the same PIN to book three different vacation times. October, November and December.

Incorrect; you can book up to three rooms on a pin code and link them to your reservation.

I was able to apply my pin code to my reservation as well as my brother's reservation for our trip in November 2011. Note: I live in Chicago and my brother lives in South Bend. This was so problem to do this when I called, I just needed their reservation information. We are all arriving on the same day, but have different depature dates which wasn't an issue either. We are all staying at the same resort in the same room category.
