Does the Harmony Barber Shop take Walk-Ins?

[Help Please!]

So...we are going to the Magic Kingdom TOMORROW and couldn't get a reservation for our baby's first hair cut. I would like to wait and go when we CAN do it...but long story short, we have family in town and they really want us to go tomorrow. So...

What's the chance of a walk-up appointment? Any thoughts on when it will be the least busy?

P.S. Please keep this on the Community Board, since it's the place where we are most likely to get answers in just a few hours! Thank you!

My son had his first haircut there also and we just walked right in. Don't stress about it, even if you can't get a cut right away, I'm sure they can accomodate you at some point in the day

I had my sons first haircut there about three weeks ago. We had an appointment at 10 am (earliest i could get) but when we got there at 9:45 we were the only ones there and only one other kid came in before we left, so one chair was empty the entire time and no one else was waiting when we left.

My husband and I are both teachers, we just bought a house, we can only afford to go for a day at this point (we live just over an hour away). I was stressing so badly thinking that we were just going to have to give up on the hair cut...HOPEFULLY we can make it work tomorrow! I think the plan is to get there early and just keep bringing the little guy by to see if they have any openings...thanks for giving me hope! Love the disers!!!

Last time we were there we took Christian. Got there pretty early, right after opening. I think there were maybe 3 other people in line so we just waited. When they finished up cutting, they "decorated" his hair with some color gel and glitter stars. Then they asked if DD & I wanted a little "decorating" too. So we ended up with a quick little updo, red & blue color and glitter too.

A few weeks ago I was going to MNSSHP on a Friday and set up a 4:00 appointment. When I got there only one person was in a chair and there was not waiting line.

One important thing to remember at the MK Barber Shop. When they removed the old antique cash register and put in a terminal to allow use of credit cards and hotel charges and the like they hooked into The Emporium's network. The register, unlike ones in table service restaurants, cannot handle tips as part of the transaction.

So if you are planning on using the Harmony Barber Shop please be aware that if you are using any sort of card you cannot add a tip on the card and should have cash available for tipping.
