I was going to order my Universal tickets along with the add on express pass, but when I looked at what attractions it covered, nothing from Harry Potter was on the list. Have they just not updated the ticket info site? Thanks in advance!!!

We actually don't know if the Express pass purchased will include Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It may be the case that it won't at first, but it also might just be that Universal hasn't updated that information yet.

We did learn however that your room key at the on-site hotels will only work for Express on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey once per day.

I'm sure when I was looking into the Express Pass last month there was a little disclaimer at the bottom of the page stating that bought express passes were not going to be valid at WWoHP. If you stay onsite your FOTL only lets you onto each ride once at WWoHP as well, instead of unlimited amount of times.
They should be included in time, but my guess is not for the first year or so.

SN: Does anyone know if you can use express to get on HRRR yet?

The talk seems to be that Express Pass will allow for one ride on The Forbidden Journey per day, but I have also read, that if you are satying onsite, you will be allowed early entrance into the park, and you can ride all you want before anyone else, then save your express pass for later :thumbsup2, That's what I would do

Here's my question, what about the other rides that are being rethemed
like Dueling Dragons, will our express pass only allow one ride per day?
HHMMM...
Thoughts?

It's only Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. The other rides are unlimited for hotel guests.

If I understand correctly Dueling Dragons is being made part of HP...does anyone know for sure that the FOTL for hotel guests will be unlimited. It's one of our favorite rides.:thumbsup2

The collective understanding is this:

-Express will be limited to 1x per day for Forbidden Journey(how this will be enforced is unknown, but if it's in effect, it's in effect)
-Dragon Challenge & Flying Hippogriff should honor Express as normal (you can re-use Express over and over if staying onsite)

Also, LoodlesNoodles, Rockit is still not honoring Express. Nobody knows if/when it will.

The other change I read it that DD will be called "Dragons Challange"
I'll always call it Dueling Dragons :goodvibes

My understanding was that only hotel express would be allowed one ride per day for Forbidden Journey and normal express for Dragon Challenge and FotH.

The purchased express would not be valid for Forbidden Journey but would be for DC and FotH.

I guess we will need to wait and see.

This is what I was told this weekend. I was also told this weekend that HRRR may start offering express once Harry Potter opens. :confused3

on the site right now it says express pass is NOT being used on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey =( that line will be like 5 hours long come august when im there =(

I posted this a week or so ago in another thread, but FJ will be included in the IOA VIP packages beginning June 20th. My understanding from some back and forth with the VIP dept. is that there will be an Express line open by that point - but they were never clear as to whether that would only be available to VIP package holders, VIPs + onsite folks, or anyone with an EP.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when FotH was Flying Unicorn there was no express line. Are you saying that now that it's FotH, that will change and there will be express?

Flying Unicorn had Express.

We stay onsite so believe me...my son knows
;)

We were told that FJ would be like Rockit - no Express pass, even with hotel key. We did ride Rockit numerous times though in the single rider line, which had a 5-7 minute wait most of the time over the past three days, vs. 35-40 minutes for the regular line.

I think Express will be included for FJ at some point but not until the crowds really calm down.
