I was just reading the menu at spoodles and was all excited that I go a reservation, but on the page it said this...

Disney Dining Experience 20% Discount excluding Holidays

What does that mean? You only get a discount, not a TS meal inlcuded in the plan? Sorry if this is a daumb question. I am confused.. THanks for any input. the menu looks great anyway :) jody

DDP=Disney Dining Plan (purchased for $37.99/day as part of a pkg that includes room and park tickets and includes a snack, a counter service meal, and a table service meal/day)

DDE=Disney Dining Experience Card (gives 20% off most table service meals (it's only available to Florida residents and Annual Pass holders for $65.00 and is good for a full year). No pkg required.

They are two different programs. Spoodles accepts both. With your DDP if you go before Jan 1st you will get a drink, appetizer, entree, and dessert, plus tax and 18% tip are included. After Jan 1st the appetizer and tip will no longer be included.

Is the no apetizer a change at all resturants on the dining plan or just a select few?

The dining plan in 2008 does not include a table service appetizer unless you sign up for the Deluxe Dining Plan (costs more than the regular plan - for adults it's about $70/night). That one does include the appetizer. It also includes 3 meal credits per day that can be used for either TS or CS, so on that plan you could effectively eat all your meals at table service locations.
