Does the AP rate normally apply to weekend nights?

I just rebooked my reservation going from an AAA code to an AP code and the rates given look a bit strange. It looks like I did get 40% off for the normal weeknights since they went from $105 to $63 but the weekend rates stayed at $120. I'm staying at Pop Century from May 15th through May 24th.

So has anyone else gotten the AP rate for every night of their stay including weekends?

I called in a little while ago to change my PIN code to the AP rate and it was not giving the discount for the weekend nights. However it does give the weekend night discount on the Passholder website.

Yes, I was just online and the weekend are indeed included in the discount. Just remember, weekend rates are higher than weekday rates, so the price will be slightly higher ($10). I was going to call to book a weekend, so will be curious if there's a problem. I'll just book online if there is.

I needed one night at the Poly for 3/5/10. The rack rate was $520 for a garden view, the Bounce Back was $312, and they quoted me $312 for the AP rate too, for a weekend stay in peak season. Both AP and BB were 40% discounts for that one day... these rates do not include taxes.

I booked with an AP rate yesterday and received 40% off both weekday & weekend. You should definately call and get this fixed.

I just booked a weekend night (April 24) at Pop and got it for $78 (before taxes). It was higher because it's a weekend and it's less than a 4 night stay. If you are staying more than 3 nights the prices are less and I believe the weekend would've been $72 per night.

I just got off of the phone and it's all taken care of now!

My rates, including tax, went from:

Rack rate: $1253.25

AAA rate: $1002.36

Wrong AP rate: $830.22

AP rate to all nights: $668.22

Not too bad for 9 nights! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Thank goodness you stuck with it. Can you imagine how many folks just walk away after the CM tells them no discount on the weekend?

My rate went down $7 and my DH thinks I should call to have it adjusted. I told him it was too much work for such a small amount.

I just got off the phone trying to apply the AP code to my room only reservation at POFQ from 4/23 - 5/2. I have the BB rate at 35% off but the AP rate at 40% off will save me almost $100 more. The CM said that there aren't any rooms available at POFQ or POR with the AP rate. I want to go online and double check it but I don't have the pass with me. Could someone please check to see if thiere is any availability for these dates. I'm having trouble waiting until I get home from work to check; being the impatient DISer that I am.

Again they are incorrect. This is from the passholder website. Both resorts are available, but POR is lower. POR is $938 total:

Date Rate per Night
Sun, Apr 25 $ 102.00
Mon, Apr 26 $ 102.00
Tue, Apr 27 $ 102.00
Wed, Apr 28 $ 102.00
Thu, Apr 29 $ 102.00
Fri, Apr 30 $ 111.00
Sat, May 01 $ 111.00
Sun, May 02 $ 102.00

PO-FQ is $1105 because there is no discount left for the weekend of April 30 and May 1. Those nights are $185 a night, but the week days are the same ($102).

Thanks so much N2mm, for checking for me. I'm on the phone right now trying to get them to check, again.

Good luck. After reading all of the trouble folks are having I just booked my one night at Pop for April 24th w/ delux ddp online. Much easier.

It took me two tries, but I got my one night weekend bounce back rate changed to one night AP weekend rate at the Polynesian for March 2010. I saved a whopping $11.70 for the one night in a garden view room...

Thanks, you gave me the incentive to call and get my Pin code offer changed to the AP rate saving me $7.

I called to get my AP Pin code adjusted to the new AP rate. I was on hold 2 minutes and the CM took about 2 minutes to change the code and got the exact rate I researched on line for Saturday night 3/6 adjusted to a lower rate saving $8. My CM had no problem getting the same price as I did for that Saturday night and the whole thing took about 5 minutes. Seemed a little silly to do this, but my DH thought I should since he said that Disney wouldn't hestiate to bill be $8 if I owed that to them. Oh well, almost enough for a margarita! Shoes99, thanks for the incentive to call.
