Does Target still sell physical Disney gift cards?

So you can buy Disney gift cards at 5% off with a target redcard? And then you can combine them all onto one card to use when you go on vacation?? Am I understanding this right?
Yes, that is correct. I just purchased our tickets online and paid for them with the gift cards! I either get my cards from Target or Frys Grocery store when I get 4x the gas points. (hubby drives a lot for work so this saves more than 5%).

I was just checking out the gift card section at one of our local targets for teen Easter basket fillers yesterday, and they had a plethora of Disney GCs. They even had a cute Disney100 themed card I was tempted to grab. We’re in So Cal so ymmv…?

I will take 1 GC with a small amount on it to the parks but I usually leave the bigger GCs in the room safe and just let my family charge using their MB's. Because if I lose a GC anyone can use it and our MBs are PIN protected. Then every 2-3 days I will pay the room charges off at the resort with my GCs. This also allows more family freedom where the person with the GC doesn't have to be there for purchases all the time:)
You're talking about WDW, right? Because everything I've heard about Magic Bands at DL is that they can't be used for room charges.

One thing to watch is that some physical GCs can’t be used in the parks. I am not sure that was your intended use since maybe you were just going for the 5% Red Card savings, but if someone is trying to get a physical GC to use in the parks, make sure to read the fine print on the card.
I have yet to ever run into a Disney gift card being unable to use in the parks.

Although, you can use them at the small food carts at least some of them)

I have not bought physical GCs in a few years, but pre-COVID, some GCs had fine print on the back that said that they were not usable at the parks, only at shopDisney.com. So just read the fine print, and you should be ok!

I'd be mighty peeved to discover I'd purchased gift cards that couldn't be used in the parks and only had fine print indicating that. Thanks for the heads up!

I don't think any of the physical GCs sold for Disney say that. A lot of people buy discounted gift cards for Disney (from sites that sell discounted GCs, not a regular retailer) and need to read that it is actually store credit for Disney Store

Our local Targets have physical cards, but in a different part of the state where friends live, they don't sell the actual cards... so it must vary store to store?

I always get Disney Gift cards at Target before a trip to save 5% on all our in-park stuff. I went yesterday (in Alaska) and they didn't have ANY. I saw them there just a few weeks ago...... I asked an employee and he was puzzled, as well.

Just FYI you can buy Disney GCs on the Target website and still get the 5% off. They email you a virtual card and you can add it to another Disney gc if you want. I'm not sure if there is an option to get a physical card at Target online.

Thanks

Thanks. That’s what I did. No physical cards online - they say SOLD OUT. Maybe Disney is rolling out something new and more secure.
