Does T-Rex do birthday cakes?

We are headed to WDW next week and meeting DH's family there. We have had years of strife with them... and it took 10yrs to even talk again. But things have been going great over the past 3 yrs of healing and forgiving and this is our 3rd trip to WDW with them - so life is good.

FIL's b-day is the day after we leave and step-MIL's birthday is a day after that, and the last night we are there we are going to T-Rex. I came up with the thought of having a b-day cake for both of them because we have never celebrated birthdays with them (the live in FL, we live in WA state). Dh loved the idea of it.

Does T-Rex do birthday cakes or birday desserts (where they will bring it with a candle and everyone sings)? Do I need to call ahead or can I just notify someone right when we are there? Nothing big - just a chance to celebrate a little with their grandkids since they never have before.

No birthday cakes but they will come out and sing. We were there yesterday for ODS' 8th birthday and we always order the Chocolate Extinction cake which is 4 slabs of the most delicious brownie cake and ice cream with whipped cream, butterfinger crumbles and chocolate/caramel drizzle. It has a shaker with dry ice in the middle so smoke is pouring out like a volcano. They put a candle in it and sang for him. It will easily feed 4 or more people. We have 5 including the 2yr old and we barely finish it.

And you don't have to call ahead. Just tell your server when you get there.

1) Almost any WDW eatery will give you a cupcake with a candle.
2) However, singing and such is totally optional.
3) Depending upon the individual CM's, they may or may not sing.
4) As far as a cake, you could get one from Publix supermarket.
5) Their bakeries do a great job.
