I'm sorry, but it was a lot worse than I thought it would be. The smell stayed with me for at least an hour afterward and I really thought I was going to be sick! I had to purposely go into a shop and smell the coffee so I could get that awful smell out of my nose!
LindsayDunn228 and poohluvr: I personally don't find it offensive (can't speak for anyone else), but I do find it gross and rude, especially when it is done repeatedly and you don't excuse yourself afterwards.
My question is and it might be a stupid one: if noone likes it (which noone on her seems to like it), then why don't they just get rid of it? There are a ton of better attractions that they could put there. I do get the cost of it, but wouldn't you make more if you took it out and put something else in it (Tink meet and greet *hint hint*). Then they could have a whole Tink themed store there and there are several people on the boards that would go throught that store and buy several of everything (not literally, but you know what I mean). Just my $.02
Even though I suspect the smells are the same (or close enough) to what was there for ETAE, they seem more disgusting.
As to why they're still there, it's easy: the first (and only) time we rode it last December, every time Stitch had an "eruption", the kids in the audience shrieked with laughter.
I really didn't find the smell that gross. I think the "scratch and sniff" flyer that was put in our welcome packet about this ride (when we went in December) was more gross smelling then the "actual" burp.
And yes - kids (and my DH) will always find burps and flatulance funny...the more gross smelling the better! hehehe

I won't be going on this one, thanks everyone. I have a sensitive nose and a weak stomach, and thinking about this makes my stomach hurt! How disgusting!
I guess you can tell me to lighten up - we won't be riding this either. Instead, I think of it as a preference, just as some of you won't ride Mission space, because you have a preference not to spin. I have a preference not to watch and smell burps.
my 10 year old son will totally dig this!!!!! a few years back he started getting tired of all the girly stuff at WDW - still loves the place, but he was a bit too old for the pooh stuff and the princess stuff grossed him out. he will get into the potty/burbing/slurping humor of stitch and his "new" attraction. (ok - i know it isn't that new, as most of it is exactly like AE, but we never took him in AE, he was too young then and it was too intense for a 5 year old...)
