We rode spiderman a few times during our stay and once on the night of the 30th, during HHN and it seemed completely different. I noticed the spin was a lot more intense and the characters seemed to do different things during HHN. When I mentioned this to the rest of our party they didn't think there was any difference.

They might be testing out some new programming on the vehicles.

I rode it on Saturday night during HHN and noticed no difference

All of the vehicles move slightly differently. They may spin or make any other movement at a different speed than another car does, even though they follow the same track. They don't have the exact same programming, that's why. As for the characters doing different things, the films haven't been changed. It could be because the different programming causes the cars to enter or leave certain rooms at slightly different times. For example, one car will leave the "Things are just starting to heat up" room while Doc Ock is still on screen harassing you, while another car will wait until you see him get pulled backwards.

I think F-L-A is right. A while ago I remember a lot of discussion around the ride vehicles (Scoops). Some of the vehicles move faster than others. It's pure luck of the draw as to what vehicle you will get. They are just programmed differently. If you notice each vehicle has a number on it. I like to look for vehicle 17 as that car seems to move very fast. To me the faster the car the better the experience.

Pretty awesome that you noticed.
