I saw a little blurb on expedia about AA having power connections built into the backs of seats for using laptops etc. Does Southwest have this. Reason I am asking, we want to bring our laptop but the battery is horrible. It will only last for 15 minutes or so when playing a DVD, which is one reason we want to take it, so my boy oldest can watch a DVD, That and to download digital pics. I was going to buy a cheap DVD player for my youngest as they don't like the same things but then if the laptop dies in 15 minutes oldest will be upset. I looked into a new battery but I could buy another DVD for that price and we seldom ever need to use it with the battery so it would be somewhat of a waste. The laptop is on it's last leg anyway and it really would not be worth replacing the battery.

Anyone know this??

The two planes I was on last week did not have them. Southwest planes are pretty basic, no extras.

No, SWA doesn't.

AA actually only has them on a limited number of seats, and they are under the seat, not on the back.

You might want to bring a 3 tap power adapter so you can try to find some useable power in the terminal for recharging before your flight.

I agree about recharging in the terminal before boarding.

Also, on our old laptop when having the same problem, we got a brand new battery REALLY cheap off ebay.

Hope you figure out something :goodvibes
