Does Pixie Dust Help with Decision-Making? A 2012 PTR! NEW! 6/30 pg.85

Happy New Year, Ms Jackie!!!

Happy New Year, Katie!!!

Oh how cool!! I didn't even realize there would be 4th of July themed tasty treats! Duh Jess!

Mmm, ADR's. I miss planning mine already! It's my absolute favorite part of planning our Disney trip. Can't wait to see what you ended up deciding on!

Themed Disney treats was one of the first things I researched. :lmao: I am excited to see if there is any Fourth of July merchandise as well.

The post about ADRs is coming up this morning!

All caught up and looking forward to all the 4th of July planning. :goodvibes

I can't believe we are under six months!

I hadn't been on the boards for a while. You will have so much fun at Disney for the 4th! We have been for the last 2 years but will not be this year.

It looks like a lot of disers will be there so you should have some great dis meets!

Hope you had a great Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hi!!! We did have a nice holiday -- how about you?

Was the Fourth super crowded or manageable?

Happy New Year Jackie!
Were you able to get all of the ADRs you wanted?

Happy New Year, Jen!

ADRs coming right up! :goodvibes

Good morning! It’s hard to believe, but we are already under our six-month mark for this trip. I have a feeling, the time may just fly by!

This week we hit our 180-day mark, and you know what that means.

Time to make some decisions about where we will be eating. Now, originally, I had said that I was only planning on a couple of ADRs and counter service the rest of the time.

However, we like our Disney food, so I have somehow found myself making reservations for almost every night.

After all, I would hate to get down there and wish we had…and getting last-minute seats at Disney restaurants is not exactly something I would guarantee could even happen.

Before I share where we will be eating, let me show you this year’s planning binder.

Really, we probably don’t even need a planning binder at this point, but I like having someplace to put all our reservation confirmations, maps, and packing lists. It’s a good catch-all for anything Disney trip related.

Here is this year’s beauty…

I want to find some fireworks stickers to put around the edges, but I haven’t made it to Hobby Lobby yet.

Now, where will we be eating?

July 3, our arrival day, I didn’t make any reservations. We plan on being at the Magic Kingdom and just doing counter service. Maybe Pecos Bill’s?

July 4 we will be eating at Via Napoli.

I found this picture of gelato frizzantes. Yum! They look like the perfect summer dessert.

July 5, we are having dinner with some good friends. Very excited about this, both for the company we will be keeping, but also because we have never eaten at ‘Ohana’s before. Looking at the pictures of food and drinks makes me drool.

July 6, we are thinking we will do drinks and appetizers at Blue Zoo’s. I have to try those crab nachos!!!

July 7, our last night, we have decided we want to try the T-Rex restaurant at Downtown Disney. The menu looks pretty tasty, and I think we will get a kick out of the theming of the restaurant. It will be a fun way to end our trip.

So, I am pretty excited about all of our dining plans. We have never eaten at any of the restaurants, so it will be fun to try new places.

I love the new binder. It will be filled with Disney fun and pixie dust. Your ADR makes my mouth water just thinking about the tasty food.:goodvibes

I very much needed to read about happy Disney planning this morning, so thanks for the pictures. You should have seen the guys' plates at 'Ohana! Marc's and John's were a sight, and although I didn't see it, I heard Jarvis had a huge mound of shrimp leftovers, too.

I hope it will work out for Brooklynn and I to stay through until July 5th. In about a week, I will be booking our rooms for June, and I also have to transfer my March package money over to an October package. If the winter weather will continue to be nice to us, a 'no spring break trip' year will be easier to handle. :thumbsup2

Ms. Jackie I LOVE these plans!!!! LOOKING great!!! I love it!! I also love that you have a binder, girl I am so impressed and you have motivated me!! I think, CP, that the BINDER thingy MIGHT have to make a return debut to the Trip Planning for SUMMER 2012... remember the BINDER THINGY ??!! :) Shall I remind you??!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I am sorry to crash your PTR... the more I think about our upcoming trip, the more excited I get because of course that 4th of July trip was our first big FOR REAL trip to Disney... I keep recalling that!!!

Your Dinner plans sound fabulous, and Blue Zoo will be fabulous, trust me! Are you going to sit in the dining room or at the bar? We'll talk!!! :thumbsup2

Love you binder cover, I think the big mickey with the firework rockets looks great... A FORTH of FUN. You said it best!!!! :thumbsup2 SO excited!!!!

Love the binder. Fourth of July at Disney is so much fun!! I went for the 4th in '05. Your ADRs sound delish! The only ones I've tried areT-rex twice and Blue Zoo many times. This reminds me that I need to start deciding about ADRs for the end of July. I know that 'Ohana is a must. Your trip will be here in no time.:goodvibes

Hurrah for being within 180 days and making ADRs! :yay: I haven't dined at O'Hana or T Rex but feel comfortable assurring you that you are going to LOVE your meals at Via Napoli and Blue Zoo!!

Your binder looks awesome!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who still does a trip binder. I like having a place for everything!

Fun binder and fun ADR's. I love Via, Blue Zoo and Ohana, great great choices!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be SO much fun to be there on the 4th.

I think the crab nachos are a splendid idea and I might just beat you to that. Nice ADRs. cute Binder! :goodvibes:goodvibes

LOVE THE BINDER!!! It looks fantabulous!!!

Your ADRs sound perfect!!!! I can't wait to be back there and eating great Disney food!!!!!!

What a fun binder. I have a five tabbed folder thingie that I keep all my trip stuff in.

You have picked some great places to eat.

Yes MeMom, I think Jarvis had the biggest pile of shimp leftovers. :lmao:

I need to get cracking on a new ticker!!!

Your binder is so cute! I always use the same plain old white one! I should get more creative! You are inspiring me!!!

I'm already planning a dinner at Ohana in October!! We won't be doing DDP, but that is one ADR I'm sure of! We've never been, and that must be rectified!

Crab nachos sound good to me. Right now. I'm making turkey chili and now that's just not going to be good enough!

Hi Jackie. I have not been on in a while & very behind on all TR's but just read about your ADR's. They all look great!!:thumbsup2

Jeff & I went to T Rex (on the night we were supposed to be home in Oct.) & we LOVED it. It was great. I hope you have a great experience like we had.

Love the binder!!:goodvibes

I think your plans sound very yummy! I love trying new places. I usually book all new places on every trip we take except for Ohana. That is a staple for each trip! YUM YUM YUM! I'm so excited that you are trying that one out. I hope you love it! I'm curious to see what you think of T-Rex too. Haven't been there yet, but would like to. And crab nachos... yes, I want to hear more about that! popcorn:: I think you were very smart to book some ressies. You can always cancel, but if you don't have any, you might not get any later. And I agree... we love our Disney food too. :thumbsup2 A WDW trip just wouldn't seem the same to me without some TS meals.

Lots of yummy places planned. Also liked all those 4th of July treats! Would love to do a trip then but the airfare is currently over $200 per per PER WAY :scared1::scared1:

For some reason I can't see all your pictures :sad2: and can't see the binder...have to try on my desktop later...but yeah for plans and under 6 months :cool1:

Now, where will we be eating?

July 3, our arrival day, I didn’t make any reservations. We plan on being at the Magic Kingdom and just doing counter service. Maybe Pecos Bill’s?

July 4 we will be eating at Via Napoli.

Yummy! Yummy! Yummy!!

LOVE Via Napoli!! Pizza and Prosecco!

I haven't been to Ohana for dinner yet but, I really want to try it!!

Blue Zoo is one of my favorite all time meals! It's FABULOUS!!!

T-Rex is a lot of fun! The food is kind of like you would get at TGI Friday's or a place like that but a little better!

Sounds like a perfect mix of ADR's!

Thank you for the ideas! Since we aren't using dining plan anymore, (Girls turn ten next month...) Blue Zoo and Via Napoli sound like two great options for us!

Great plan so far!

PS love your new serving dishes from ebay!
