Does parking open 1 hour earlier than park???

We are staying off site which means I have to drive and we have a 8:10 am reservation for a character breakfast in AK.

I'm told the park opens at 9:00am so will someone be there to let us in?

We have handicap parking so I assume that's close to the gate - provided we can get in the gate???

AK is the only park where they don't open the parking lot 1 hour early. They usually hold cars until 8:25-8:30.

I had a tour scheduled for 8:15 and with all my pleading and showing them my confirmation number etc. they wouldn't let me in until 8:25.

For whatever reason, AK never lets cars in early. Only Disney buses are allowed through. You might consider changing the time to later.
