Does park/day matter during low attendance?

If we are visiting during a Low Attendance Period (beginning of Dec.) does the idea of "Which park on which day" and taking advantage of EMH matter?

We went in April (right after Spring Break season) last year I had planned everything by the best park per day and EMH using touring plans from the Unofficial Guide and lots of internet site advice. IT WORKED WONDERFULLY! The longest we stood in a line was about 20 min. for Kali (because we went late in the day). Most everything else we pretty much walked on to.

For our 2nd trip I am wondering if it will really matter to plan for "busy park days" since the crowds should be even lower. We are early risers (2 young children) so we will probably be at the parks when they open anyway, and the only EMH I want to do is AK on Friday because I think we will want the extra hour since it closes early.

FYI-- My plan so far:
Sat. 4th: arrive at night
Sun.: MGM and F! (if it is rained out we have all week to try to see it later)
Mon: Epcot
Tues: no park during the day, MVMCP at MK in pm
Wed: no park (sleep in and visit other hotels and DD)
Thurs: MK (probably do EMH)
Fri: AK for EMH

I HATE long (an hour or more) waits and have very impatient children (wonder where they get that:crazy: !!) so that is why I will only go during the "off" season.

Am I overestimating the idea of "low attendance"???

Thanks,
Laura

Well, your plan looks fine to me!!! We will be there the same time and you don't have any parks scheduled on the same day as I do. So that leaves each of us our parks to ourselves!!!:teeth:
Seriously, we encountered very little lines last year. We did use EMH, but I really don't know what we'll be doing this year.

I'm doing so much planning for my brother and family for July, that I may just go with no ressies or plans whatsoever, except for the Candlelight Processional and MVMCP. Their will be at least two other people at that, because we're doing it the same night!!! But we can share right??? :teeth:

The only resturant we encountered really busy was Le Cellier and that was the night we had our Candlelight Processional reservation. Alll the rest I think I could have just called that morning!!! Although, DH said that it wouldn't hurt to just have the reservations in advance, just to have something (in case), we can always cancel.

Well, don't know if I really helped you at all, but we found it wonderful after having gone in August all the time and really didn't wait for anything. Hope it works out good this year too.

BTW, I notice you're from SW VA, I've got a sister in Roanoke. I just love visiting her, it's so beautiful there.

We went during sept. last yr. Very low attendance. I don't really think it matters what day you do what park then. I would still avoid MK on a Saturday though.

I agree we the others usually dosen't make a diffrence which park during low attendance. But I have noticed that Friday afternoons or saturdays MK tends to be fuller, probably because school is out and local florida residents visit then.
