Does one of the MGM entrances open eirlier?

When we drove our car to MGM for an EE morning the toll booth was not opened when we arrived. By the time it opened and we were let in to go to the park it seemed that there was already cars in the other lot and people heading in. How can this be? I was only the second car. I see on the map that there is two entrances. Does one open earlier than the other? If so, which one? I'm not sure which one we went in.

I don't think one opens before the others but cast members do park in the lot. That may have been who you saw.

Another explanation is that the busses from the resorts will get in too! We always drive and have been right in the front, but the bus beat us! lol
