Does MS list the points used when booking for someone else?

We have booked a 2 bedroom villa for family members at the end of October. They asked for the families address and phone number. Do they send them a copy of the confirmation letter as well? If so, do they list the number of points required for their reservation? We don't want them to know how many points we used for them. They have a rough idea of how DVC points work and this stay was a gift. If they knew how many points we were using they would feel horrible!

The booking system seem inconsistent with this particular issue. In the vast majority of cases, it is the owner that receives a confirmation, not the renter*...but there have been rare occasions when I've gifted a reservation and the renter received the confirmation. Fortunately, in those instances, it really didn't matter if they knew how many points were used.

* I've never actually rented my points, but the term "renter" was easier to use than "person to whom I gifted the points."

Probably only if they don't have an e-mail address for the member.

MS told me the other day snail mail isn't sent out unless you specifically request it (but maybe if you don't supply an e-mail address or have one on file they will still send it).

MS also told me recently that the address on the reservation is supposed to match their ID when checking in for security purposes. If you designate the person staying as "guest of member" then it shouldn't allow them to see any information related to your DVC membership while they are staying at the resort as well.
