Does monorail run during EE?

We're planning a Disneyland trip for September. We'll be staying at the DLH and using the early entry each morning. One of the reasons we're staying on site is that DH has fond memories of a childhood visit to Disneyland including riding the monorail from the DLH into the park in the morning. I know the monorail no longer runs right through the hotel, but I'd love to re create the monorail arrival in the park for him. Will we be able to do this if we use early entry? Or will we have to go to the gates if we want to be one the first into the parks?

Sometimes the Monorail rus during EA, sometimes it doesn't. When you are there probably not. Because the Monorail even when running during EA doesn't always start when the front gates open it's not reliable to beat any crowds and often will make it slower.
