Does MK ever "close" to guests during Thanksgiving week?

I have read about the 4 phases of park closing in another thead and was wondering whether MK ever/ typically reached any level of closing during Thanskgiving week?

I've been 3 times during this week. It was very crowded last year. We were at MK Thanksgiving Day- a mob scene. While I never knew- I read on these boards after we returned that MK was closed that day- I'm not sure if it was to resort guests only or not letting anyone else in. I do know it was a madhouse around lunch!

It's not unusual for MK to close at capacity on the Friday after Thanksgiving. That's a HUGE day for the parks. Saturday and Sunday tend to thin out a little bit.
