I will be visiting Oct 24th-28th.....I read that you pay for this, but I thought ( not sure though) I remember my 4 day park hopper saying it was free???

Which is it??? ANd can someone give me more details and tips about the halooween party??

THanks!

It is a separate ticketed event. All regular day guests must leave a 7pm when the party starts. Only those who have purchased tickets to the party may stay in the park.

wow...it will cost me $120 bucks..to go to the halooween party from 7pm till...?

THat's a joke...after all I would have had a FULL day of disney already...

I Ill just have halloween at home like I always do...

do other's feel this price is way to much...or is it just me??? I think the pictures look cool...but what really am I paying for...to see tigger in a chicken custome and get some candy???

Nope, well worth the cost even if it was higher. Crowds are thin, there are special fireworks and shows, and a special parade as well. Just the ambiance alone is worth it.

I spent $168.96 for 4 adults at the pre-sale price (including tax and shipping), and would have gladly paid $60+ a ticket if that was their asking price.

We think it's well worth the extra if you can stay for the entire thing.

It's so not just Tigger in a chicken costume.

The Headless Horseman , the Parade and Fireworks are worth it alone. Then throw in the fact that you can walk onto most of the rides .

As far as the price, it is worth it. You might want to consider spending the day at DTD, Water Park or sleep in and hand around the resort instead of spending the whole day at one of the parks. That way you are not so tired. In addition, I recommend getting an ADR at one of the MK restaurants before the party starts.

I'm not sure if you understand that you don't need a park admission, just the party ticket, if you are entering after the park closes for the day.

We are doing what the poster above suggests. Sleeping late, exploring the resort, a nice lunch at the resort, pool, a rest, then going to the MNSSHP at 7:00 pm. Very much well worth it.

And BTW, Tigger is dressed like a skeleton.;)

After having a GREAT time at MVMCP last December, we are really looking forward to the Halloween party. Halloween isn't one of my favorite holidays, but even so, I am still excited about it.

Cool charectors you don't normally see, short lines, great parades...its so worth it!

Hard-ticket events are amazing. Awesome parades, awesome fireworks, rare characters, you can walk onto almost every ride without a wait, and you have an excuse to run around the parks in costume! Woo!

Definitely worth it!!! And just think, divide the cost by the number of additional hours you get not to mention the many, many extras. A party well worth the price.

well no, I planned an entire trip down there just to show off costumes I made even brought sons to model them, only had to arm twist them a little though

I certainly could not have done it any other time.

Party goers can enter the park as early as 4:00pm and pick up their party wristbands (which you need to be admitted onto rides). My family of 3 is going this year for the first time!

That is what is cost us for the Pirate and Princess and I felt the same way when I bought the tickets. I couldn't believe I was spending that much money for tickets for a few hours in the park. When we actually went I was thrilled that we had done it.

The parties really are special, magical times. The fireworks are amazing - totally unique from what you see at normal closing. The parades are also good. The two best things that make this worthwhile for us though are the character expereinces and the rides.

The character expereinces are completely unique. My kids were able to see everyone that night and many of the characters were in costume - pirates of course :-)

As for the rides - even though there were a lot of people the rides were all walk on. The kids got to go on everything they wanted several times in a row. This allowed for the rest of our vacation to be more relaxed and enjoyable because they felt like they really got to do everything they wanted to do at MK that night.

We are going to pay the price again when we go in a few weeks. It is expensive...but for our family it is worth every penny.

Is that pretty much for sure? The "official" posted time is 7:30pm.
Wow, if I can enter earlier, I might have to change my dinner plans!

Oh yeah, I feel P&P has the best characters out meeting out of the 3 parties.
