Does Mickey ever Talk

I was reading a couple of articles. There was mention of Mickey speaking at one of the meet and greets. Does anyone know about this, and / or is this omething special that takes place at a certain location?

From what I read on the boards awhile back they were testing it out. If I remember correctly they were testing it at Disneyland. I also read an article more recently about personalizing guest experiences so perhaps they will make it permanant in the future.

The other possibility might be at the Theater in the Magic Kingdom where Mickey and Minnie are now meeting and greeting. I know they are now using fastpass there.

Mickey does talk. There are two forms of technology where Mickey is talking. The first is in shows where his wording is scripted. That talking technology has been around for 3 or so years. For example, you can see him talking in the castle forecourt stage show where his speech is scripted.

The second form of talking technology is fairly new and still being tested where whatever he says comes out in the form of Mickey Mouse's voice with his mouth moving in conjunction with his speech. This technology is much more interactive with guests. Meet & greets use this technology to interact with kids and adults.

Of course we all know Mickey is real and whatever he says is real as real can get.

He does talk. My 13 year old DS was showing me some video from the testing going on. I think you can search it on youtube. It looks really cool. Can't wait until it comes to WDW!!!

Last time at Disney (Euro-Disney) I don't recall Mickey talking.
