If they want to suspend them it could take a couple of weeks because they have to have their union rep aurgue and turn it around on their managers.

TSA screeners do not have a union or collective bargaining rights.

I would love to know more about these and do all major airports have them now?? Thanks

yeah but their still fedreal employess union or not they still can't fire you you dont have to belong to the union. So mybe it be little easier to suspend them but really you think the tsa agent cares if he get suspended when they cant be fired. These can be issued for customer service issues, arising from formal complaints from passengers. A low PASS score can affect promotions, pay raises and bonuses. Screeners can be fired as well.

Where did you hear this? Palm of hand is reported by many frequent flyers and is not disputed by TSAers.

A friend of mine told me of the article online, from natural news (website for healthy living). Was a first hand account from the writer of the article.

One of the new scanners, on MCO's east side safety checkpoint, is expected to go fully operational Wednesday.

The other four scanners are on the west side of the airport. Security officials said all five body scanners at Orlando International Airport would be operational before the end of the year.

Which side does Air Tran use? I notice DFW has one in Terminal D, but luckily I always fly out of Terminal C with Air Tran.

The machine doesn't "go off" like a metal detector. They will be able to see it on the scan, just like anything else you are wearing underneath.

The government has been in THAT business for years.

That being said I have no problem walking through one of these machines or requiring every other passenger to do the same if it ensures the safety of the passengers, crew and others who may become unintended victims.

Maybe so, but everyone is entitled to their opinion and just because some think a thread serves no purpose doesn't mean it gets shut down.

Thanks I keep that in mind the next time I want to talk about something that has nothing to do with Disney at all. Yes everyone has the right to their opinion not trying to take that away but you have poster that are complaining abut TSa in away that serve no purpose but to future their ego. If I use course they get edited right so where the freedom o speech their what it only apply certain things. Sorry I not going to get into an arugement with a mod because then I get in trouble even though I am just using freedom of speech. I really don't care abiutthe scanner I have no problem with them and I understand why other people do have a great thanksgiving and a early happy holidays.
