If we take a very early flight, (8:20am) that means we have to be at the airport two hours prior (6:20am):scared1:. I am not sure how long it takes to get to the airport, but I am wondering if they will be running their shuttles that early to the airport.

Does anyone know or have experience with this?

Thanks!

according to the Disney website the express runs "Magical Express is available for flights arriving between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm daily." So it seems you're ok.

Thanks!

That is our flight to go home from Disney. I am just wondering if they will take us to the airport that early from our resort. I assume it will be around 5:30am to leave the resort.

I'm sure it will be going around to be able to pick you up. I'm sure if you call the number below, the'yll be able to help you.

1.Reserve Disney's Magical Express Transportation when you book online or by calling (407) WDW-MAGIC or (407) 939-6244. Guests under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian's permission to call.

I had a 6:30 am flight and magical express picked us up at 3 am :scared1:

so you will be fine for your 8 am flight!

ME will pick you up 3 hours prior to your flight (4 hours for international flights) You will want to arrive at the ME bus stop 10 to 15 minutes prior to your pick up time because they wont wait for you. If your bus is early and you aren't there the next bus may be to late for your flight and if you miss the bus it isn't Disney's responsibility to find you a ride. It's approx 30 - 45 minutes to the airport and you may be stopping at other resorts to pick up guests on their way to the airport.

I think you may have misquoted there. First, that is referring to ARRIVING flights (i.e. you take the bus from MCO to WDW). Second, I'm pretty sure it is referring only to the luggage transportation bit. They will no longer get luggage from the luggage carousel if your flight arrives after 10pm. You can, however, still take the DME from MCO to WDW - you just need to pick up your own luggage.

OP - you'll be picked up very early (about 5:20am, assuming you are flying within the US) and you won't be able to use RAC/BAGS, but you can definitely take the DME back to MCO.

Actually if they checked their bags right in at 5 they could RAC - has to be done three hours in advance. I did it a few weeks ago for an 8:50 flight. I checked in at RAC about 5:30.

Thanks for the correction. I meant to add "I think". I wasn't sure if RAC opened at 5am or 5:30am (I thought 5:30am - obviously I was wrong).

You all are awesome!

I think I am crazy for dragging the kids out of bed for such an early flight, but I will save a bunch of money!
