Does magic band recognize if you are NOT in park for fastpasses?

Going to WdW with only my mom in Oct. My DH and DD have AP,’s also.
Can I make extra fastpasses with their AP’s?

No. If they don’t scan in at the gate and then you try to use a FP it will lock the accounts.
