I was looking at the Loews website on rates, and I noticed that it says:

Deposit Policy: 14 DAYS AFTER BOOKING
DEP CREDIT CARDS: AX VS VI MC CA DC JC EC
100.00 PERCENT OF DOA RATE

Does this mean they charge you in 14 days or they charge you immediately for the reservation?

If you call for a rate can you hold it or do you have to book it on the spot?

Thanks!

I used to work hotel reservations for a different company and if Loews is the same, what you have said means that they will charge you a deposit equal to the DOA (Day of Arrival) room rate, within 14 days after you book. So if you are staying 4 days at $159/nt, they will charge you a deposit of $159 within 14 days of booking, the rest will be do upon check-in.
