Does JetBlue charge for pre-seating?

Hi gang, I have not flown with JetBlue yet, I did a little reading on the boards here and it sure sounds good, especially the pre seating however I was not able to figure out if they charge for seat assignment or is it part of the whole price- can anyone help me out? thanks

No charge ... its free.

Wouldn't let me choose a seat last flight. Said to see an agent at the airport. Not sure why, there was tons of room on the flight.

I've always done pre seating and never been charged. Our last flight was last October.
