Does Jack Sparrow do actual meet and greets during regular park hours, or just the pirate show?

I checked MDE and saw that he appears only a few times a day, and when we went back in 2018 he was only out for a show, not meet and greets (with the Halloween party being the exception). My 13yo is super into PotC right now, and she had a blast when meeting him back on our last trip (before she knew the character), so I was wondering if he's doing M&Gs currently. (We aren't planning to attend the Halloween party this year, so that's out.)

This was in 2019 and we just happened to be walking by and he was out for meet and greets. he was so cool.

We met him at 9:35 one morning. I don’t think there was a show before. We were headed to pirates and he was just standing there with one family and a handler so we jumped in line. Several people joined after that and it looked like he planned to stay awhile.

We were there earlier this month and he was definitely meeting and taking pictures/signing autographs by the stage as we saw him or the line waiting for him to come out several times whilst walking by on various days.
