Does it Seem Easier to Get ADR's?

Our trip is only 77 days out. I figured the chances of getting any casual restaurant was out especially with free dining having been extended through December.

I went on the website and found to my surprise that there were plenty of available reservations. I booked the Rainforest Cafe and Sci-Fi Dine In for dinner with no difficulty and then Akershus for breakfast. All right around the times that I was looking for.

One of the options that came up was Cindy's Royal Table... The last couple of years I found myself having to call just about every day and still didn't get the ressies that I wanted.

I think the new system may be working.

This is my first time ever making ADR's. I wa in a frenzy in the beginning fte reading these boards....but got my reservations with ease.....have even changed the times up some. (Chef Mickeys, Ohana, Tusker House, Crystal Palace)

Once I realized how easy it was I was like HUH? Maybe its just the time of year we are going, I dunno.

We went October 2008 and we struggled for every ADR. I had to take times that weren't normal meal times and there were even a few restaurants that we just couldn't get.

Then in February, I decided that we were going to do counter service only. Two days into the vacation I reversed that decision and went to work on finding places to eat. Being that we were only a party of two we managed to land Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare and Grand Floridan Cafe without too much time conflict.

The sit down meal is just necessary to help one keep their sanity at Disney. I think this new computer ADR system is pretty good. I like how it gives you other suggested times and restaurants. It's good to see that Disney got something to work on the website.
