Does having 430pts put you in the heavy hitter club?

I have over 600 points and it keeps me in my comfort zone. Not a heavy hitter. Always room for more points.

We have 650 and feel pretty comfortable with that number, but have we may be pushing that "heavy hitter" number depending on the point chart at KTV.

I micro manage my measly 210 points and get every bit of life out of them that I can. I constantly dream of adding more but short of robbing a bank it's not in the cards, yet who knows what the future might bring.

It's amazing to me how completely devided people are on the DVC issue-Some of us can't get enough and others just don't want any part of it, other than when they are borrowing or invited to use my accomodations.

430 is Heavy Hitter status in my book, you lucky thing!

Same here! With my 224 pts., I have a plan in place that I can get 6 days in a 1 bdrm., 5 days in a studio (during F&W), and 5 days in a OVIR every year! Now imagine what I can do with a "dollar"!

we've had 400 for a few years now (so you just flew right by us!), & still haven't managed to go one year without borrowing. i think 600 points would work out quite nicely for us (especially, since the safari ~ a life-long dream of mine ~ has been calling my name for a while.... & 400 just isn't enough even with banking/borrowing )

We started out with 225 in 92 and made our last addition in 98 which took us up to 755 pts. Some how we never seem to care over pts. Have been going to Disney 2 or 3 times a year. Hate to pay the bill in Feb. but its all worth it.

This does beg the question, what do all of you do with your 400+ points?

I figured about 10 possible use years all under 430 (just for kicks). The only things that seem to break the bank are premium stays, grand villas and grand gatherings. (One reason I'm not heartbroken my brothers keep declining invites because their kids must stay in school. Gradeschool that is. Lord help them when the kids get to high school age. They'll never travel again.)

We own 627 points. We have 375 in one (our first) contract at BWV and 252 points at BCV which is a one br during dream season, we almost always go the first or second week of May to the BVW and spend lots of time at the pool. We always stay 7 nights, no moving and we almost always stay in a one br or two br. We have also taken my parents on a cruise, so two cabins for four people two yrs ago and plan to go the same for DH's mom next year. So, that is in a nut shell how we spend our 627 points!

Congratulations on your add-on! We're in your "neighborhood" with 450 points - 325 at SSR and 125 at AKV. I would love to be an even "heavier hitter" with points at GCV and maybe BWV, but alas, that probably won't happen, so I'll have to just hope for the 7 month window.
