Does having 430pts put you in the heavy hitter club?

Congratulate me. I'm having an unusually good day.

Got a new client (make more money :woohoo: )
Got a bill dismissed (pay less money  )
Found more confirmation of CRV (more places to stay :yay: )
Added on 110 points at SSR (have more points to stay with :dance3: )

So at 430 points, does that put me in a heavy hitters club? Or do I need to get in the 600 point range?

I'm thinking of adding 70 more points at CRV and I'm done. 500 is more than enough for me to make trips about 4 times a year or take my siblings' families and still get alone time later.

Of course, being Irish Catholic, all this good news has put me in perrenial fear of the coming bad news. I know its on the horizon somewhere.:scared:

Well I own at BWV and AKV I just sold a contract for 100 points at BCV so now I have only 430 points

Heavey hiter naaa just a famiely that like to Disney

Well maybe I can prepare you for the worst....just my realistic Italian side...CRV may just be a RUMOR....those SSR points will only count in the proposed DVCI resort category....that bill you got dismissed just went over to my collections company....and your new client, well lets just say he got an offer he couldn't refuse !!!!:lmao:

Lesson learned. Never mess with a clever Italian.

Funny thing is, adding on at SSR (and the rumor about THV) has actually dimmed my fervor for CRV. So if that one is a rumor, that'd be good news. Means less money next year for an add-on. I can go on a European trip instead.

Congratulations on your add on!!! I think that it's well known here just how much you love SSR.

Uh, nope. I have more than that, and I don't consider myself a heavy hitter in DVC terms. Now if you are past the 1000 point mark....yes!

Hmmm...I have 430 points. While according to a lot of polls on the DIS, that's above "average", I, too thought the Kilo Club was the "heavy hitter" threshold.

Hey, I'm a member of the 430 Club, too!!! Let's design a special pin, and a logo for a tote bag!!!!!

I have 165 HH points, 165 BCV points, and 100 AKV points. Ideally I would like to add 100 more points at AKV and 35 at BCV, as well as 200 at VWL and 165 at HH. That would put me at 930, I believe. Still not a member of the 1000+ Club. Oh, well....

How about our own line of BEER AND WINE

By the way due are not that bad with this point level..

No way could I afford that. Nor want it. As much as I love Disney and SSR, there are other places in the world to vacation.

But with this amount of points it does feel comfortable. We can do 4 weeks a year in a studio (a week in every season save Premier), or 2 weeks in a 1bedrooom, or do a 2bedroom for a week with family and a studio for a week. Maybe my brothers will finally get a chance to stay with us (my sister has called dibs up till now). They do think it's funny when we add on and they still don't get a chance to stay (because we're always there).

Thanks! It's funny that. I find my love grows more every trip. So much so, I don't really care if I never stay at the other resorts. I can visit them instead.

Just having some fun with you BroganMc.....congratulations on your add-on. With all the hoopla about KTR, actually I am very content, and like you, don't care if I can't get to the other resorts as well. But I am jealous of your point count!! I'll just have to live thru your dreams..(and trip reports!):goodvibes

Congrats!

You obviously haven't seen the bloated 1000+ points thread!;)

Congrats on your add on! We have over 600 points, but I don't think that puts us in the heavy hitters club. I consider that to be about 1,000 points, but I don't think we'll ever reach that point.

I also have over 600 points and have always considered the people over 1000 to be the "heavy hitters". I also do not think we will ever be in that club, especially as much as points cost now:eek:

Congrats BroganMC!!!!

We took advantage last week of the current incentive and added-on 110 points too.

I agree with the others, I think 1000 point minimum to be a heavy hitter.

Oh no no no! 430 points => not heavy hitter

450 points => heavy hitter

Umm, I happen to have 450 points.

Congratulations BroganMC:yay:
I've always enjoyed your posts and trip reports. Like you, we happen to love our SSR. I like to visit the other resorts, but SSR is home.
Enjoy your points and your stays!
