Does Gymboree Clothing run big? small?

Our closest Gymboree is 1/2 hour away. I wanted to buy DD an outfit on e-bay. I was wondering if you think the clothing runs pretty true to size or bigger, or smaller. I was interested in a dress (Cute as a Cupcake). DD is a 5 now and I thought I would get the 6 for the fall. I know when we get Hanna Anderson they run large....anyone.

I think Gymboree runs big.
Have you checked their website? They might have a size chart.

Gymboree runs true-to-size to a touch big (although there are pieces that don't fit the pattern). In general, however, the above is true. Gymboree is not like Hanna Andersson where the stuff is really big at first but you can wear it for a while.

Is the dress the pink one with cupcakes on it? If so, I would go ahead and get the 6 for the fall if that is what you are buying her in other clothing. My daughter had that dress and it was true-to-size but definitely had room to grow.

I did check the site and there is a size chart. I am going to get the 6 and give her growing room for the fall winter. Yup it is the pink cupcake dress. It is cotton and looks so comfortable!!! Thank you all!~
