It definitely runs at night. And at night usually the line is empty. Last weekend we went on around 8PM... three times in a row... without getting off! (Looking back, that was not a good idea! )

It's really awesome at night, too. If it's a chilly night, I highly recommend a poncho, even if you don't normally "poncho up" during the day. And if it's raining, as it was the first time I EVER rode it, well, you might be wearing one anyway, so there ya go.

It's just a bit spookier at night, and the views are lovely...very peaceful, too, apart from the whole "spinning and splashing and going down hills without knowing who will get soaked" part...

Tonight would be a wonderful nite to ride it!! And I wouldn't even care if I got soaking wet!!

I love, love, love (did I mention that I LOVE) riding at night... We rode it 4 times in a row on our last trip and I have never laughed sooo hard because we were SOAKED

I agree with Bumbershoot that the views are pretty and if there aren't other riders it's really quiet and kinda spooky too.

I showed a video of it on youtube to my dh and ds- they are willing ot give it a try- and I think once we ride during the day, getting htem on it at night will not be a big deal either!

The only thing about going at night is, you may get very wet. And thus may get cold for the rest of the night. Use the freelockers to the left of the entrance to keep a sweatshirt dry.
