Here is a thought for people with young kids. I think it is so worth it to see their reaction to Main Street and the Castle first. It is just a magical feeling, and unless you have experienced it, you won't understand. I think you might get desensitized if you visit the other parks first. Walt's vision was the MK, it is what started it all (the modern theme park era) so I think he would want you to see the MK first. However, why not go to Main Street, have some ice cream, see the shops, look at the castle and maybe have a character meal. The kids might not even realize there are rides there. Then you can experience the other parks before coming back to the MK and doing the rides. The nice thing about Disney is most of the rides are inside buidings, so the kids wouldn't even know what they are missing.
Just a thought, but you can only see the castle for the first time only once in a lifetime, and it truly is magical. I wouldn't want to spoil it for my kids!
