Does Gaston still meet outside the tavern

I met Gaston long ago outside the tavern. Does he still appear through the day.
Or is this rare?

They actually did have him out on Valentine's day with other limited edition "couples" that were around. He was out with a mirror! So, they could have him out for special ocassions, but it is not a regular thing at this time.

Best chance to see Gaston is during MNSSHP, he will not be listed as one of the characters on the party map or in the app.

Best thing to do will be ask a character attendant in the park that night to see if Gaston will be making an appearance in front of his tavern.

It's so sad that he never returned after Covid. Head on over to DL where I think he still wanders around Fantasyland sometimes.

Really sad about this! I thought we just never saw him during our 2023 trip. Didn't know it was permanent.
