I was wondering if ft. wilderness has any adjoining campsites or do you just request side by side campsites? also would it be better to request sites across from each other instead of next to? we will be in a 30 foot TT & our friends will be in a 30 foot 5th wheel. we were hoping to request the 1600 loop. thanks for all your help.:cool1:

I would say across from instead of next to. Both your rigs are facing the same way so you really couldn't walk from one to the other without walking around one of them. I don't think either one can be swung around so they face each other.

Call and make sure your reservations are linked together. This will help you to be close to each other.

thanks for your help. we made our resservations today!!!!!!!! so excited!!!!!!!
we made our reservations together & linked them & aske to be side by side or across so now we just have to wait & see:):cool1:

We have stayed with friends at the Fort before and had side by side sites. What worked for us is we made our reservations and had them "linked." About 5 days prior to our arrival I faxed in a site request, as our friends did, and requested to be put next to each other. We included each others reservation numbers and arrival dates. Good luck.
