Does Frozen Ever After have a drop?

I will be traveling with a 17 yr old that gets anxiety about rides and even Pirates caused her anxiety to rise. She has done it once and isn't sure she wants to ride Pirates again because of it. So I'm trying to plan our trip around her needs and wondering if FEA has multiple drops or what the drop is like.

Yup. One minor "ramp" and one actual "drop."

That drop is a bit more "intense" than on Pirates (which is to say, it is still not very "intense.")

Just one little drop like in Pirates. It's a peaceful ride and everyone stays dry.

And it's backwards... that's the big thing to me... if she doesn't like drops, is a backwards drop going to freak her out? Honestly, she may not notice it if you keep her looking up, but keep in mind that it IS backwards.

so it is just like the malestrom except different decor? I hated that backwards drop lol

I was mistaken on that but the drop isn't backwards. It turns you around right before the drop. The ride goes backwards though after the small ramp.

It is pretty much the same exact thing as maelstrom. There may have been minor adjustments but same flow and everything.

I had forgotten about the 2nd drop.

But it's the same track as Maelstrom, so if she rode that, she'll be fine. The backwards "drop" is what always startled me because you didn't see it coming. If she didn't ride Maelstrom, you at least have something to base your judgement on.

The show pieces look incredible and I can't wait to ride it in a month. I should have clarified the water track is the same but the scenes are totally different.
