Does Fort Wilderness still share buses?

The last time we stayed at the Contemporary we shared a bus with Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness. It made for some really long trips back to the room at night because the Contemporary was the last stop. We are staying at Fort Wilderness this September so I am wondering if they still share and if so it the Fort the first drop off and pick up?

We've never been there when they shared busses with Contemporary!
We often do share with WL, but have been when they did not! Probably partly depends on how busy they are - can't say. We usually get off at WL anyway and catch an internal bus straight to the Settlement area. We camp in preferred so we then just walk.

There are buses that go straight to the Fort and to the Fort via other places. I've noticed you are most likely to see the latter at night when the park is closing. I usually went to the transit center and then took the MK boat to the Fort for that reason. (Like the other poster, I was closer to the settlement than the main bus depot anyway.)

Go westcoastwild's point, in the evening, I have seen buses from one area take passengers from/to another area because either they were slow or the other route was so busy, it was hard to keep up.

I think it's just a way to help keep things flexible and moving from a "Disney" perspective. My perspective is, as long as I don't have to wait too long, I don't care what bus gets me there.
