Does February = not busy at parks

There's really no off season anymore, but early February will be slower than summer. There will also be more refurbishments because of the lower crowds.

We have been several tines in Feb, and love how quiet the parks seemed. While there was still a number of guests, the lines were not super busy as they can get closer to summer or spring break time. Looking forward to our October trip to see the differences in crowds.

I've been twice at the end of February now and the weather has been pretty great (even though it did rain a bit this year) temperature-wise. Honestly, I wouldn't go into it hoping that the crowds will be nil because I just don't think that happens anymore from what I've seen everyone say.

The mornings are great, but it gets busy later in the day, which I would assume is due to locals with APs coming into the parks later in the day for a few hours.

I was there last Feb and now in July. July was way, way slower. Feb was crazy busy. We went over presidents week though, so be prepared.

We are going first part of February too, hoping for somewhat lower crowds!

I'm guessing July 2015 will not be as slow as this July due to the 60th anniversary stuff going on, BUT it may mean that people will delay their February trips?

We are visiting first two weeks of February 2015, being the off season and being winter, would the parks be super busy? I know they are not open as long as they would be if it was summer.

Hello aussiemumma!:)

We really enjoy going in February, and plan a trip during that month every year! We've visited the Resort during the first part of Feb., and during the last week and a half, and like both time frames very much.

Crowds are lower(not nil), as long as you avoid President's Day weekend.(We also avoid Valentine's Day, and as a result, have never experienced huge crowds in Feb.) Dapper Day, at the end of February, increases crowds as well, but that is just for a day or two, and won't affect you.

If you happen to be there during any of those specific times, crowds are still manageable with some common sense, and a little bit of planning. ;)

We love the weather in February---cooler, and occasional sprinkles---bring some cheap ponchos just in case---we didn't need them this year.

Hours are shorter, and there might be a refurb or two going on, but for us, the pros highly outweigh the cons!

I think you will like visiting in February(good for you, for taking advantage of that cheaper air fare)---it's one of our top times to go!!!!:thumbsup2

Yeah, any 3-day weekend is going to be busy.

As others have said, there doesn't really seem to be a "slow" season anymore. But February will be slowER than other months.

The "president's Day" holiday (3 day weekend) has morphed into "president's Day WEEK" for many. Combined with Dapper Day that weekend was crazy crowded with the Sunday (official Dapper Day) being the worst! That said, the first two weeks should be ok! Have fun!

That IS good timing;)!

You've chosen well(in my opinion), and I think you will find it to be great to be at the Resort(with lower crowds), during that time frame!

It will probably be cooler, than it would be toward the end of the month, and there's always a possibility for showers during the first half of Feb., so just be prepared with layers/ponchos(we love Feb. weather, and it has never bothered us or caused us to alter our plans, very much at all!):thumbsup2

I've been looking at planning a trip for my birthday next year. (Feb. 17th)

But, from what I'm reading here that week is likely to be busy because of the preceding President's weekend?

Is it possible that Fat Tuesday might also exacerbate that in 2015?

Thanks!
