Does everyone in your stateroom have to check in together?

Just wondering if you have several people sharing a stateroom if you can check in a different times? My friend and her DS are thinking of joining us. We will be at WDW for a few days before but she would not be flying in until the day of the cruise and wouldn't be arriving at the Port until around 2:00. Is it possible for us th check in and board when we arrive, and then she can check in later?

Thanks!
SuAnne

We wre able to do this in July 2000. My daughter was in a stateroom with my girlfriend and her daughter. They checked into the ship and got onboard befoe we got there. I was the one that kept telling her to be EARLY! And then we under estimated the time it would take us to pack, check-out an have breakfast at WDW. Plus taffic moved along fine, until we got to the line to park your car at the terminal, there we sat and waited! Joan
