Does everyone in your group need AP?

or can just 1 person have AP and book the hotel with dining plan for everyone in the group? I am guessing that to have the dining plan added, everyone in the group has to have an AP pass.

So with my AP I can book the room and dining plan for me and my children without having to buy the minimum one day park tickets?

Thanks!

While only one has to have an AP to book or be coved by DDE if purchased everyone over 3 must have a park ticket for the days of the plan.

I'm confused by this. The DDP is going to be based on the number of nights booked, and yes...everyone in the room has to be listed on the reservation, but if it's booked as an AP rate -- I don't think there's anything more specific about what type of tickets the rest of the party is required to have (in all honesty, they could be staying in the room and not even purchase a ticket).

I will have everyone on the room listed on my reservation, and would like for everyone to be on the dining plan but only one of us may have AP. The others will probably purchase tickets separately.

I could be wrong, but I have been told that everyone on the reservation has to have some type of ticket (AP or MYW) for DDP nights. I guess you could get around this if you visited frequently and did not always use DDP to buy non-expiring tickets and using them later. I think when you book they will have you buy the tickets as part of the “package” except for the person with the AP but I would call and check.

I think this is so people do not stay at a value and eat more $ worth of food during the free dining period than their room costs and never buy a park ticket (or spend any money at the parks).

Ahhh...now I see where the confusion lies. :goodvibes

What you are saying is true as it applies to *free DDP* -- everyone in the room must have a ticket purchase. However, OP was asking about booking the room with an AP, and paying for DDP. AP holders are not required to make any additional ticket purchases in order to add the dining plan to their reservation.

You'll have no problem with this plan Jenny. :thumbsup2

Is the FL resident seasonal AP considered an AP for the dining package ticket waiver? In-laws may be able to have children in their room.

Thanks :)

Yes. The SAP is eligible for all AP perks except free parking.
