does everyone in room have to have AP to get dinning

Were looking at booking the new AP rate with the dinning plan added and was wondering if everyone in the room had to have an AP or if just one adult was all that was needed.The first CM said everyone had to have an ap in the room in order to have the dinning plan but the second cm put me on hold and said only one ap was needed per room but they would not except the voucher at checkin you have to have the ap activated first I'm so so confused and the CM are also.I'm going to call again.Anyone out there having the same problem

I asked that same question when I called this morning, and I was told that only the one AP was needed to get dining for everyone. However, he did put me on hold about 3 times during our whole conversation, so I don't know what he really knew for sure.

no answer's but another question can FL Seasonal passholders also get the dining plan?

If I'm not mistaken, everyone has to have the same ticket to be on the dining plan...what I did since I am a Florida Season Pass Holder is to buy everyone a one day base ticket. You can then upgrade them to any ticket you choose.

For a season passholder, I'm assuming you would have to buy everyone a one day base ticket. But it never expires and you can use it to upgrade your passes for next year.

I called again and he read on his screen what the package included and he said that only 1 AP was needed in order to book the dinning with passholder room discount rates.The dinning plan is still the same price no discount on that you just don't have to buy 1 day tix anymore to add the dinning plan.I'm getting one adult AP and then getting my girls 10day park hopper tix at the disney store and adding dinning plan.If anybody get other info please let us know

I got the exact same info when I asked the question. How GREAT is that? Only there's no availablilty for my dates. I can be flexible about resort, but not the dates.
