While we are waiting for adrs to be announced...lets discuss our plans for this meal. :)
Are you all just waiting for the go ahead or will you wait and see what is offerered before even thinking about a time? :wizard:

Me?....I can't decide between breakfast and lunch. It will be our second Mgm day on a Sunday...so Iam thinking we might have a sleep in that day :sunny:
So either a late breakfast or early lunch....We have an adr for Boma that day also but at 6pm..so if lunch it will have to be early say..11am-11.30.

Anyone else?

We'll make our ADR for breakfast, as soon as we can. We've always felt MGM ws sorely lacking in the breakfast department, and the draw of the characters is enough for DS (8, by the time we go). Every character breakfast buffet we've been to has been good, so I'm not worried about the particular offerings at this meal. Can't wait!

we have enough breakfast ADR's so I will try for the lunch on this one.
Hopefully it will be on for our trip in June. princess:

We'll do breakfast, as it is DH and DS 8's favorite meal, and one that is really hard to mess up!

I'm planning on breakfast on 8/28, and I want the earliest possible time. This will be our first full day in WDW, so I thought it was a great way to start off the trip. :cool1:

I have a first and second choice date (8/15 and 8/20) picked out. I'm not sure whether I'm going with a late breakfast or lunch. When I originally heard about it, I heard that it would be only breakfast, so I planned for a late breakfast. I think I may try for lunch, though.

If I have to, I'll move some other things around for a different date. We definitely want this meal!

I'm still waffling between breakfast and an early lunch. I think I will wait and see the offerings, although I'm leaning towards breakfast. We will be there for 11 nights and have three breakfasts planned - CP, Ohana and Boatwrights.

I will see what the times offered will be. I would like a late breakfast - 11 ish like we have at Chef Mickeys (11:20 am). But I imagine they won't have one that late in the parks so I might do the earliest lunch. It is going to depend on the food offerings and cost whether or not we do the lunch. If the food isn't great or there is a big difference in price, we might just do the latest breakfast we can get.

I am just afraid they are going to do something like at CRT and make it RIDICULOUSLY priced. I hope not. I am really looking forward to doing this meal, but I will NOT book it if it cost $31 for breakfast!! (My kids are "adults".)

I was thinking the same thing. If it is similar I will probably do it this once, just to do it, but not again. Luckily my kids are still "kids" but even those prices are painful for a bowl of cereal or bagel, which is usually what 1 of my kids eats at buffets.

I think it will be just a normal price...like crystal palace or chef mickey. At least at first...so they can wait and see how popular it is.
What time do you think lunch would start?
I would like an 11.20am. Or would this still be breakfast?

From all of the calls they've received - they should already know how popular this is going to be. :)

Lol..Good point :teeth: I wish they would get a move on then :wizard:

God forbid...but...what if it is not on the dining plan???? :scared:

I want to book an early lunch (11-11:30 ish) or if no lunch then a late breakfast.

We are SUCH Toy Story fans! I want to stay at Movies just so the boys can experience the thrill of Andy's room again. My classroom is done all in Toy Story...we've had Toy Story themed birthdays...the first thing we did on our previous WDW vacation was track down Buzz and Woody for photos and autographs.

I have often thought that it's too bad they don't do a Toy Story or Pixar meal. If this has been discussed here before, I'd love to be pointed to the appropriate thread. If not, please fill in a Disney Dreamer.

We won't be going until 5/07, but I am already geeked!!!

It is nice to see something go to MGM, but I wish it were a villian meal instead. I am glad to see that there is something that boys can enjoy.
