Does Everset ever go down for entire day?

Was just wondering if anyone has experienced this? Have you been to AK all day when Everest was down and never gotten to ride it before the day was thru? We have base tickets for our 7 day vacation and have planned AK as our last day and now am getting a little frightened of the fact that if Everest goes down and stays down all day, we'd have to leave Disney without going on it this trip. I know, I know, you'll say to change days and this way you can go back to AK if need be, but sooooo much planning and ADR have been made that I'm leery to do it until I hear from the "experts"

It is very rare that this would happen. They try to get rides fixed as fast as they can. But there is never any gurantee, because it's a huge machine!

I gotta believe that the one ride, at the one park, on the one day youre going will be just fine. Enjoy!

Add the Hopper option and substitute an early morning trip to DAK very early in your vacation. Do EE and anything else that morning, then go back to the park with your ADR and continue there.

Then you won't have that "worry" anymore about the last day.

About $40 (per ticket) "worry insurance".
