Does DVC keep track of previous requests?

I'm just wondering...In November we stayed at OKW and requested a first floor because we had a total of 6 kids with us and a double stroller that I didn't want to lug up steps.

We just returned from SSR, my only request was non-smoking. We were in a first floor again. I had no problem with being on the first floor, it just made me curious.

Now, if they give us a first floor at BCV in December...

I've got you beat. 4 Stays at OKW so far and have only requested non smoking. Each stay has been in Turtle Pond area. First stay was building 32. Next two stays were building 35 (across the street) and the last stay was building 34. We'll see what October has in store for me. =)

Hmm, interesting. In our last 4 stays at OKW, the last 3 were ground floor. We had requested ground floor back in 2002 (due to medical reasons---my mil had lung cancer at the time), and ever since that request we've gotten ground floors. My only requests have been N/S and water view. We even got a largely requested elevator bldg this past Nov. I just figured they saved those 3 elevator bldgs for guests who particularily requested "near HH" or "elevator bldg" which are popular requests. Not sure how we got placed here.

On our last two trips to VWL, we got the exact same room! The only request I made was non-smoking, near the elevator. I'm sure this was more coincidence than anything, but when we got off the elevator and headed for the room, I thought it looked like a familiar location!

Yes, we have noted that happening sometimes too. Our first 3 or 4 trips at OKW were on Miller's Road. We started requesting South Point, and our next 4 trips were there, even when we didn't request it. Then we needed a 1st floor or elevator building a couple years ago to accommodate an ECV. We had 1st floor buildings several times in a row then. They also have given us near HH the last 4 trips, for no apparent reason.

I'm wondering if they don't look at your last location and try to duplicate it if they didn't have any complaints about it.
