Does DU still give a gift to cruisers?

I was very very suprised to find a gift from Dreams in my stateroom. We booked this cruise 1 1/2 years ago, and our sailing had the quota of bookings prior to the time they stopped giving the gifts. I was not expecting one at all, and it was a nice suprise. We received a photo album box, which includes a small Mickey Mouse holding a small frame. Very cute! I don't know if they are doing it any more though.

I'm not sure if every cruise gets a stateroom gift from DU, but we got a really great one on our December 14-18th 2003 4-day Wonder cruise. THANKS DREAMS UNLIMITED!

When we booked with dreams we were told we would get a surprise gift because so many rooms had been booked with DU. But then we were told we would not be getting anything. We sail in March. It will be interesting to see if we get a gift or not.
There are a bunch of us sailing in March that booked with DU and had been told about the gift only to be told later that we would not. From what I understand it was because of DCL and not DU.

Our first Magic cruise we received a very nice gift (food tray with little cakes, chocolates, chocolate covered strawberries, etc.) along with a bottle of champagne from our local TA.

Our second Magic cruise and our Wonder cruise we booked with DU, didn't receive anything either cruise.

We'll see... I just transferred my ressie to DU through Sue Ellen for the March 4th sailing - 3 night.

Our first cruise ever! I'll report back on this. How fun -- I would have never even expected anything (and still don't, but suprises are fun, too.)
