Does DU do flight reservations?

Our beloved Qantas airlines has changed the flight time for when they depart Australia to arrive in LAX. My connecting flight to MCO now leaves 90 mins after the Qantas flight arrives.

Great, 90 mins to clear Customs, bag check, recheck in and then LAX security before departure.

I still have to talk with Qantas and see if for $7,500 worth of fares they will rebook us on another flight, even if it is not direct or we get hit on for extra charges since early booking credits have gone. Otherwise, Pete & the crew have said how much they like Southwest, and they have direct flights.

So, is it worth asking DU to help with any booking, or just use the SW website and allow say 2.5 hours in LAX, direct or one stop?

Remember, our flight & travel time at this stage will have been about 30 hours in Economy so there is no guarantee I will be that sharp or pleasant natured (or smelling) by that stage.

Call Qantas first. Since the airline changed your flight time, they ought to be willing to accommodate your need for a longer layover in LA without charging you more. I don't believe DU books airfare for new clients.
