does disney world ever get boaring

I'm not sure you'd say it gets boring - there is an awful lot different to do each trip. But I can say it reaches a point where you may say it's not a value anymore. Back when we still had annual passes we got to the point of visiting 4-6 times in a year. I first discovered I didn't enjoy going alone. If I didn't have the kids with me I didn't see the look of wonder in their eyes and I didn't enjoy just riding the attractions. They didn't seem as good.

Then, as the kids grew up, it seems they also lost interest. Many of the attractions had lines of up to 90 minutes and they weren't interesting in waiting "to ride that again". The newer parks - MGM & AK - barely held our interest for 1/2 a day each even though they were new as there just aren't enough attractions and too many are food places (how much can you eat?) or shows rather than active rides. Now we are Universal annual pass holders and average 1 Disney visit maybe every 2 years. Meanwhile we don't seem to tire of Universal despite a visit every month or so. We find a day is more than enough at Disney and we can even do three parks in that time. It isn't boring but it isn't the great attraction it once was either.

When the next generation comes along I expect to get a fresh view through those young eyes at least for a few years.

I think it depends on personal taste. For me I could go all the time (well at least I like to think so :) ).

I am going to move this to the Theme Park Planning Board, since I'm sure you'll get more answers there than on the Orlando Hotels Board. :)

:confused3 i am going twice in a year and i want to know if you go there a lot does it get boaring :Pinkbounc :rotfl2:
I have been multiple times and never find it boring. I always find something new to do. I was there over Easter and went back in 3 weeks time for another trip. If I had the time of from work I would be more than happy to go again now.

I only been bored on one trip, and that was when Wilma hit Disney last October. Lots of stuff was limited or cancelled. I love the characters (obviously!) and there was hardly any to find. But not much I could do about the weather! :(

But besides that, I almost never get bored!! But I have a definite goal to each trip - to find and report on the characters for my website! So all my trips have a purpose and a goal, which makes it fun!! I usually find myself running out of time on every trip, wishing I had more days! :)

I go twice a year and have for about 10 years now. It NEVER EVER gets boring for me. There is ALWAYS so much to do!! And plus, you can't put a restriction on magic! The memories and moments you create are timeless!! :thumbsup2

Nope, never ( well as far as I know) I live in FLorida and we make quite a few trips in the year. Even though we go for weekends we still choose to spend two weeks a year in September as our "real" vacation.

Nope i dont think it will ever get boring. There is so much going on and there's always new things to see and do. Also different times of year brings different experiences. I seem to get more excited every time we go.

Lets see...A trip in Nov 05, a trip in Apri 06, one at the end of this month, one coming in Aug and another planned for Feb 07 - nope not boring to us....We now take time to enjoy the little things - we don't feel the mad rush to be on all the attractions - we see shows, we enjoy a nice meal, we enjoy being together... its great!!!

Come on now....we go at LEAST once a week and don't get bored!

Are you kidding??? How could you get bored at Disney World? We go to the theme parks, we enjoy the activities they offer at the resorts, we play mini-golf at one of the two mini-golf courses, we enjoy a couple of character meals, we look for hidden mickeys, we trade pins with cms, we hang around DTD eating and shopping, we check out the other disney resorts, we swim in our resorts pool. So as you can see we never get bored. :goodvibes

How often do you get to hear it. "You going again to Disney?", "Is it not the same?", "don't you get bored?"...

NEVAH, EVAH.... I could live there, I could :teeth: I never get bored being at Disney

I don't know if "boring" is the right word, but we are more selective in what we do. For example, MGM really doesn't do anything for our family anymore with the exceptions of TOT, RNR, and Fantasmic. The rest of it is a quick walk through. MK never gets old. AK IMHO is the most underrated park. The layout is the best, and there's more to see than most people realize. Epcot is not as fun as it once was, but we still enjoy it.

We go at least 4 times a year and this May, I just made it over to the Rockin' Roller Coaster area. We have been about 15 times!! I have never been on space mountain! OR tower of terror!! Atleast we have that to look forward to when the kids are old enough.

We always try to do different things while we are there. We have annual passes so we take things nice and slow now. We enjoy every minute of it.

For me being at Disney is never borning, some of the attractions or rides get boring but I am one of those people who could sit on the sidewalk on Main St. and watch people for hours and be perfectly happy.

So my answer is no , there is always something to do.
