packets prior to your visit? We attended WDW in 2000 and they sent this really nice basket full of goodies prior to our visit.

Next visit is Aug 05 at the campground!!!!

I've never heard of that before. We've been going for years and have never gotten one. It'll be interesting to read the replies to this.

We went to WDW in 1999,2001,2002,2003, and 2004, and I've never gotten a basket of goodies from WDW.
Considering all the guests they have in all of their resorts I'm sure that sending baskets to the guests would not be very cost effective.

I am sure this is what the OP meant. We received a welcome packet from the manager of the resort we are staying at.

The funny thing is that we have changed resorts already and the POFQ packet came, welcoming us. We had already changed to POP and then WL/POR.

At least we got a welcome! To bad I was hoping it was PIN code for a better rate......

Sweetie, that is not the same as a basket of goodies?!?!

I had the same thing happen. We were originally booked for POP and we switched to POFQ. We got the little envelope for POP and got the one for POFQ about 3 days later.

I remember that! As part of the Millenium celebration, Disney sent a gift basket (as a one-time promotion) with the purchase of parkhoppers.
I remember it came in a hat-box style box and had lots of goodies in it--a stuffed animal (actually a beanie) and book (coloring book?? I'm not sure) and several other things. Anyway it was a really nice perk.

Haven't seen anything like it since.
