I'm not sure, but they look like a great idea. In the past, we wrote all the info on a piece of paper and just stuck it in my son's shorts. I wish I had thought of something like that earlier. We leave for our trip too soon to order one of those. I'll be interested in knowing if I can get one in the parks.

I'll let you know.. I leave TOMORROW and while you can get it overnighted from the website, the mail wouldn't be here in time for us because we have to leave for the airport.

Depending on when you're leaving, I'd think about having one overnighted. I wish wish wish I would have found this even yesterday...

You can do the same thing with a pet tag from wallmart, my sil did them in wallmart at a self serve machine. She made a heart for my neice and a star for my nephew and they came out cute! We did see them at DTD - if you get to DTD toward the beginning of the trip you could do one then.

If you are crafty you could just do a label, laminate it, punch a hole and attach it to the shoelace.

They also had the Dogtag style tag machines at some of the parks as well AK it's back by C&H primevil whirl.

MCO had one at the Universal store as well

I ordered them from the website. They are resonable (less than 10.00 for 2 and a couple of dollars shipping.) Once I ordered them, I had them in a few days. We leave for the World in the morning and I am going to feel better with them on his shoes. The pet tags are a good idea, I just didn't like the thought of someone being able to glance down and see all of our information.

Also, the whos shoe tag and a place for 3 phone numbers and you can list any medical conditions your child may have (my son has allergies and asthma.) :thumbsup2

We just used a luggage tag and we put it on the side of her pants/shorts. She called it her key and would pretend to unlock stuff with it.

Just in case anyone else is wondering you could not see any info on the tags. The top was blank, just a pink heart or the blue star. I wish I had a picture, they looked cute on the shoes! The opposite side was engraved with just my sil's and bil's cellphone numbers. She opted not to put personal informaton at all, only the #'s for a CM to call if they got separated.

My nephew has asthma and wears a medic alert bracelet 24/7 so that wasn't a concern.

Do you know how much these are? Which section of Walmart would they be in because I haven't seen them at our's... Do they come with like a chain to attach because my son doesn't wear tie shoes.

In our Wallmart they are in a machine, in front by the customer service. Ours has a claw machine a photo machine and a machine that makes these tags - self service.

They don't come with a chain but you could get a key chain or some other type of clip to attach it to velcrow shoes I think.

Thanks TJ. I know where you are talking about... the older store near us has these machines, but I don't think the newer store has them. I've gotta check them out this week.

I just ordered silicone wristbands for my 3 kids and they arrived. I got them here:
http://www.wristbands-with-a-message.com/cart/inventory.php

On one side they say "Dad" with my husband's first name and cell number and on the other side they say "Mom" with my name and cell number.

I thought they were a good idea in case the kids should lose us and need to find us.

Thanks for the post, I just ordered mine. We used to do a small key tag with our cell# and attach it to the little loop found on the back of your shoe, or in the shoe laces on the top of the foot close to the toes. But I like this idea, and I know the girls will too. For those interested they ship to Canada. $16.75 for 2 youth ones to Canada.

Bump...I just received ours the other day. They ship from Texas and we received them in Canada a little over a week from ordering. They look awesome. The girls will love them as they love any of those Silicone Bracelets. This way I don't have to worry that they didn't wear the shoes with the tags, we're doing the Crocs. They love bracelets so I know they'll wear them without an issue.

I also did mine with the LGMHs. I put 2 back-to-back with the info on one side (bottom), laminated, punch 2 holes and I was done. My 4YO and 2YO seem to like them!

They'll be attached to their backpack harnesses, which they'll be wearing all the time, so if anyone seems them 12/26-12/30, make sure to say hi to mom!

Those silicone bracelets look awesome! And even my boys will wear them, we will be ordering them! Thanks!

How do they fit? I have a 3 year old with really small wrists...do you think they will stay on her?

I made some for my daughter's shoes.I knew that if i made anything for their wrist or neck, they might get sick of wearing it. Also in their bathing suits I wrote in water resistent marker my cell phone just in case we got separated at Typhoon Lagoon.
The ID tags I made were very small and you couldn't even tell they were there. I used a piece of fabric and used a water resistent marker. Then i sewed them onto a piece of velcro and attached them so that the info was on the inside. I was able to attach them to their sandals and then their sneakers. The only information that i put on them was our resort name and my cellphone number. When we got to the resort i added our room number. It gave me piece of mind. I know my oldest would be able to give all the info, however my little one i wouldn't trust to remember it all.
You can never be too safe. In their clothes I bought premade labels that i attached to the labels on their clothes. I only have my cell phone number on it.

My DD2 (at the time we go) probably will not keep a bracelet on but I think DS7 and DD4 would be ok w/it. I think the tag on the shoe would work better for the youngest. Thanks for the info.
