When we go to book our resort/tickets, do we have to pay in full, or do they do payment plans? If they do plans, what sort is it - monthly payments? 3 payments etc?
If you book a package (room + ticket) you put a $200 deposit down and the the rest must be paid a couple of weeks before arrival (45 days - I think.) I used to book my package and then every payday go online and pay towards the package - in effect creating my own payment plan
For a room only you pay the first night as a deposit and then the rest when you arrive, I think.

30 days before your arrival date is when total payment is due on a package. My arrival date is Jan 14 and payment in full was due Dec 15 (less the $200 deposit as noted above)....
They do not have a payment plan, they leave it up to you. When you book a 'package' reservation you pay $200 up front and then you have up to 30 days prior to check-in to payoff the balance. For a room only, you pay 1 night up front and then the remaining balance will be charged to your CC on file the morning of your check-in date. You can make payments to either of these reservations any time you want. We usually try to pay ours off using discounted GCs.
thx - since I bought DVC I’ve not really kept track of cash reservation deadlines - OP’s post reminded me of the days when I used to log on to Disney and make a payment every pay day, it was my little reward for working so hard, a vacation on the horizon
I do my own version of a payment plan. I have a spreadsheet set up with the expenses we'll need and I pay into an account weekly to get to that amount. I always overshoot it, so we have money left over.
